As the world adjusts to a new post-pandemic normal, many questions remain unanswered. One of them being centered around large gatherings, such as, sporting events, concerts, and, in our community, gaming conventions. While no one knows what the future holds in this regard, many conventions, such as Georgia’s own MomoCon, have recently announced cancellations, however, others are looking into alternate solutions to bring people socially together, while still remaining physically apart. One such company is Paizo Publishing. Renowned for their Pathfinder and Starfinder Tabletop RPGs, Paizo hosts PaizoCon every year in Seattle Washington. So, I was excited to learn that the show will go on! Online that is!

That’s right, PaizoCon 2020 will be a completely online experience taking place from May 26th-31st. Including panels and seminars hosted on Twitch, as well as, live plays utilizing Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Astral, and D20Pro.  Be sure to snag a table slot early, with registration beginning on May 1st! There will also be an official PaizoCon Online Discord server for Con goers to hangout and discuss all the fun announcements we have come to enjoy from Paizo.  So, I encourage players to checkout the Paizo website to keep up-to-date on all of the upcoming events. This pandemic has affected everyone in a number of ways, and I for one will be looking forward to connecting with my fellow gamers for a few days of tabletop fun. I’m sure this is a large undertaking, and I’m thankful to all involved at Paizo who are working to bring our community a bit of fun in these hard times.  I hope to catch a game with you all, and will see you all online!

While playing, you will most likely see my cat several times…
